Mor (Ohnikovsky), Dvir

Dvir, son of Hagit and Ron Mor, was born on June 25, 1992 in Kibbutz Amiad. Dvir chose to volunteer for an elite unit and was accepted to the “Shaldag” unit in the IDF. After two months in basic training, while at the base in Arad, he complained of pain and high fever and it turned out that he had contracted a violent bacterium. After three days of fighting for his life, Private Dvir Mor died. Dvir fell during his service on the 13th of Shvat 5772 (February 6, 2012), he was twenty years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Kibbutz Amiad cemetery. Survived by father – Ron, three brothers – Shahar, Dotan and Dolev and sister – Tal.
