Moharor, Meir (Meshulam)


Son of Shlomo and Kamer. Born on August 8, 1949, in Jabla, Yemen, his family immigrated to Israel, where he studied at the “Giborei Etzion” elementary school in Kiryat Ata and completed his studies at the ORT school in Kiryat Shprinzak He worked in sports (playing basketball, soccer and table tennis) and art (creating wood and metal works), and since he loved nature, he worked diligently in nurturing the garden around the house, growing flowers, plants and fruit trees. He was a cheerful man and everyone who was with him enjoyed his company Meir was drafted into the IDF in May 1967. In his military service he excelled in all the territories. His commanders and subordinates admired him. Those under his command would have obeyed all his orders with great devotion. He was a friend and bad to all and shared every effort, without fear of responsibility for the role he was assigned. On May 14, 1969, he fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. After his fall, his soldiers, soldiers from the Nahal Brigade, wrote a letter of condolence to his parents and family, expressing their love for Meir and describing how they admired him as a commander.
