Mizuman, Ran

Son of Miriam and Nissim. Born in Tiberias on January 24, 1975. In August 1994, Ran enlisted in the IDF, successfully completed the formation of a paratroopers’ unit and began his career as a combat soldier in the unit. On May 15, 1997, Ran fell in battle in Lebanon. He was twenty-two years old when he fell. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Tiberias. Survived by his parents, two brothers and three sisters. In memory of Ran, his family donated a Torah library to the Moreshet Avot and Yad Binyamin synagogues in Tiberias.
