Mizrahi, Zakai-Yitzhak (Josie, Itzik)

Son of Dinah and Nathan, was born on February 25, 1927 in Tiberias. He studied at St. Lucas College in Haifa and after completing his matriculation exams, he was preparing to go abroad for further studies and in the meantime worked as a clerk in a car replacement company. After extensive and long-standing activity in the Irgun underground, he was drafted into the army on February 15, 1948, was stationed in the Golani Brigade and participated in all operations of the brigade, fighting and wireless service, securing transportation, He fell in the vicinity of Sejera on 4 July 1948 and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Tiberias.
