Mizrahi, Ram (Rachamim)
Son of Rina and Aharon, je was born on April 24, 1962, to an old Jerusalem family. Ram traveled extensively throughout Israel but also devoted special hours to study beyond the official curriculum at the yeshiva. He was a member of the Bnei Akiva youth movement and served as a counselor at the branches of Gan Yavne, Kiryat Malachi and the Bnei Akiva branch in the Baka neighborhood of Jerusalem Ram fought in the Peace for Galilee War and fell in battle at the outskirts of the town of Mansuriya, in the central sector in Lebanon on 1 Tamuz, 22 June 1982. Ram served as a lieutenant in the battalion’s deputy battalion, and served as commander of the operation after the battalion commander fell ill. He left behind by his parents, sister and brother.
