Mizrahi, Rachamim


Son of Tzippora and Yehuda, was born on 25.11.1926 in Jerusalem. After graduating from elementary school, Rahamim was forced to make a living and therefore went to work. At first he worked as a driver and later as a laborer in a shoe factory. In 1947 Rahamim joined the ranks of the Irgun in Tel Aviv and was a member of the Irgun on April 21, 1948. Rahamim was killed by a truck carrying steel plates for protection, which confiscated pity and two other fighters for the Irgun. Rachamim was transferred to Hadassah Hospital, where he died. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
