Born in Jerusalem on April 1, 1974, Lior moved to Haifa with his mother in Haifa, where he studied at the Leo Baeck elementary school and continued with the Basmat junior high school. Moved to Migdal with his father, where he completed his studies at the “Technology Center for Youth” in Tiberias, where he was a pleasant and smiling child who loved to play and play with his friends and family. The company is loved by those around him for the honor he has given, his manners and his kindness, and Lior’s friends tell of his optimistic smile, Lior was able to express his love in a sincere manner and give himself to all who needed it, and before joining Lior, he volunteered for the Civil Guard in Haifa. Lior quickly integrated into the military framework, he saw his second home base and purchased many friends during his service. Lior had the ability to “walk among the drops” and he succeeded in carrying out the tasks assigned to him while lecturing his commanders, but at the same time he treated the soldiers he was in charge with respect. On the Independence Day of 1995 Lior received an outstanding soldier’s certificate. “When we arrived in the area we discovered in Lior the qualities that characterize him – kindness, alertness and healthy logic, especially the love of others – qualities that characterized him until his dying day,” Lior said. His high performance, his personal ability and his unreserved dedication led us to give Lior a Certificate of Appreciation as an outstanding soldier on last Independence Day, and this is our expression of our humble appreciation for his efforts to advance the base. ” During the service, Lior came to see me. The two had a deep bond of love and friendship. They spent a lot of time together and Lior became a member of Etty’s family. In February 1995, Lior was diagnosed with a serious illness. He was hospitalized and underwent a series of treatments. During the treatments, Lior proved courage and radiated optimism and hope, but after four months of intense struggle, Lior was assassinated on 17.6.1995. He was twenty-one when he died. Lior was buried in the cemetery in Migdal. Survived by his parents and girlfriend. “We will never forget your sweet smile, we will not forget your sincere love, we will not forget how beautiful you were, outside and inside, we will not forget your green eyes, which always gave only light and joy. Your optimism, until your last days, Lior, your soul was taken from us prematurely, but will always be engraved in our memory forever. “
