Mizrahi, Ephraim

Ephraim, son of Frida and Elijah Mizrachi, was born on 28.1.1929 in Jerusalem. In his city, he finished elementary school and began to work as an apprentice in the broadcasting service. As a youth, he joined the Betar movement (Zror “Yehuda”) and later joined the Irgun underground. He fought with great self-sacrifice as an experienced soldier against the heavy weapon of the enemy, until he fell in battle on 10 Iyar, 19 May 1948 and was buried in a mass grave in the Old City of Jerusalem.
