Son of David and Ora. He was born in Rehovot on January 31, 1958. He studied at the Havatzelet Elementary School in Ashkelon, where his family lived, and continued at the ORT vocational high school in the city, He graduated with honors from the vocational school and received a license to perform electrical work that arrived at his home after his death, and after his working hours he dealt with the large collection of coins he owned, and dealt in sports, , And was active in the Gadna. On Saturdays he liked to travel and ride his bicycle. Eli was a shy and kind boy. He loved his home and his family and spent a lot of time with his family. He loved order and cleanliness. Was a disciplined boy and showed a serious and mature attitude in every field he dealt with. His family and many friends will remember him for his kindness, kindness and willingness to help and help anyone in need. Eli was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in early February 1977. After basic training he was sent to the air force, where he was placed in the Technical School of the IAF and was trained in a missile system, and he was a dedicated and disciplined soldier who carried out all the tasks assigned to him.
