Mizrachi, Yaakov (Yaki)

He began his studies at the “Hagefen” school in Ramat Gan and continued at the Komemiyot School in Pardes Katz. He completed eighth grade at the Ben Gurion School in Givatayim and continued at Ort Tel Hashomer High School where he studied mechanics and procurement Profession: Machining. Yaki worked in sports and played football, basketball and snooker. He was very attached to his mother and wanted to stay close to help her. In the middle of August 1995, Yaki was drafted into the IDF, and he was sent to the course of the equipment maintenance unit and was assigned to the Ordnance Corps. On September 13, 1996, Yaki was critically wounded in a car accident at the Ashdod junction, while traveling with his friend to deliver a Shana Tova greeting.
