Mizrachi, Yaakov-Chai

Yaakov-Chai, son of Yaffa and Nathan Mizrachi, was born in 1929 in Israel, grew up in Jerusalem and completed elementary school. He joined the Palmach and served for another year. When he returned to Jerusalem, he joined the Irgun underground and was arrested by the authorities shortly after he left the detention camp at Latrun for ten months. He fell in tragic circumstances on the 10th of Tamuz (16.07.1948). He was buried in Sheikh Bader Aleph. On the 28th of Elul 5710 (10.9.1950) he was put to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
