Mizrachi, Mordechai (Motke)


Son of Esther and Pereg. Mordechai was born in Jerusalem on March 22, 1943. He grew up and was educated in Jerusalem. In his youth he was active in the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed movement. At the age of eighteen, he enlisted in the IDF and served in the supply unit at the base in Be’er Sheva, where he worked for Solel Boneh in 1962. In 1962 he married four children: Orly, Tali, Eti and Shai. Mordechai served in the Jerusalem police unit in 1972. He served as commander of the police station in the youth capital in 1972. In 1975, he served in the police force in Sharm el-Sheikh, where he served for a period of two years. His last post was commander of the Mevasseret Zion point, and Sergeant First Sergeant Mordechai died during his service on April 19, 1982. Thirty-nine The fell. He was buried at the Mount Herzl military cemetery in Jerusalem. Left a wife and four children.
