Misilati, Roi

Rinat and Mutti’s eldest son. He was born on the 28th of Tammuz 5761 (28.7.1981) in Ashkelon. A brother to Adi and Gal and to Shahar, who was born after his death. Roi began his studies at the Nof Yam A Elementary School in Ashkelon and completed his studies at the Ort Ronson High School in the city, where he studied in a theoretical-geographical course. Roi loved life very much, enjoyed living in the moment and a lot of sports. As a child, he played soccer in the Hapoel Ashkelon team. He also liked to play handball, and later participated in handball competitions, a branch in which he found special expertise: he reached first place in the South and continued the national competition. His greatest ambition was to win the title of “European Champion” in a competition that was to take place a few months later, but did not win. The joy of life in which Roi was endowed was especially evident in his love for parties, his love became a real profession. Roi served as a public relations officer for youth parties, organized youth parties in which thousands of boys and girls participated, and employed a large number of PR people. Despite his youth, he was able to listen to many young people and serve as their father. Roy loved and respected others, was willing to help and help anyone, and was surrounded by many friends who returned love and asked for his closeness. He was a caring and warm family member, a loyal and loving brother, and a devoted son to his parents. At the end of November 1999, Roy enlisted in the Israel Air Force and served in an air force squadron at the Hatzor Air Force base, where he continued to inspire the soldiers of the base and to be motivated by sports and organizing events. “Roy came to the fourth wing of the Nutrition Division as a young man, a little frightened of the uncertain future, ready and ready to fulfill the role that will be assigned to him. In the reception interview with Gaf I met a tall, handsome young man who was waiting anxiously to get a job and start his way through the base. Roy has a role that requires seriousness and responsibility: Roy is appointed to be responsible for the officers’ dining room, a position usually staffed by veteran and experienced soldiers or soldiers. I felt the first impression I could rely on the guy sitting in front of me in an interview; ‘He will do the job well,’ I thought to myself, and indeed – as time went on I realized that the choice was there. Roy quickly integrated into the position and the team, and received beautiful and good assessments from the guests of the dining room. During his service – which was abruptly cut off – we discovered a sensitive guy, a guy who wanted to do everything. You could say that he was a sort of man of the world, a man with a developed sense of business. We knew he had a future ahead of him and success was safe wherever he went. In the few leisure hours he had between meals, he kept a fresh body and worked out in the basic gym. ” He was friendly and accepted by his friends and knew how to spare every spare moment in his life. “Roi had many plans for his life, but his life was cut short in a fatal road accident. In a car accident that occurred in the Gan Yavneh region, he was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Ashkelon, leaving his parents, sister Adi and brother Gal, to whom Shahar, who was born after his death, joined. He was promoted to the rank of sergeant, and the family placed a memorial plaque on Roi’s grave: “Roi, you were a very special child. / It is still hard for us to believe that you are no longer with us. / You were the light of the house, the pillar of your friends, / Who would have believed that this would end your life. / Was taken from us in a tragic accident at the age of twenty /And since then we have been hurt and broken. // Leaving a huge space in all the areas in which you dealt, especially in the field of hand-cutting, in which you excelled. / Everyone remembers the ambition and ambition that accompanied you, / any successful party was credited to you. / Your friends, your family and your commander have eulogized your grave, / and swore that forever they will engrave in their hearts your memory, because even if you are not between life / man like you, you never forget. / Thousands have accompanied you on your last path / and continue to arrive each year. The heart has remained since your heart has died, and every day we hope to return. It is hard for us to believe that you will not return – grief and sorrow have flooded the house since you left – our beloved son. “Sometimes I look up at the sky and ask: ‘If only you would extend life to him … God?'” Major Eli wrote: “Things I wanted to say about Roi and I did not get … The bad news that came on the day Roy was injured in a terrible accident All of us. Surely it is not possible that we will not meet the sturdy young man at the entrance to the dining room or the gym? The brain refuses to absorb and believe … just refuses !!! We met Roi’s family and immediately understood where Roi had absorbed his sense of sensitivity and responsibility. A wonderful and warm family that lost a dear person, dear to all of us … We will always remember you Roi … “” At the memorial ceremony marking the fourth anniversary of his downfall, Roi’s mother said: “Four years have passed without you, The day that we do not miss you / Time does not heal anything / And the pain like four years ago left / And here is like every year, this year also / Come to everyone / To commemorate the anniversary / And remember again the same accident / cruel accident that took you in the blood of your days / Full of longing for you … / Soon everyone will be dispersed / and the tomb will be left empty again. But we are always your parents with you We will stay / Every Friday we will return and visit / Tell you all that We must move / because you do not forget a firstborn son so fast / Dear Roi, Give us the strength to continue to survive / Because every passing day it becomes very difficult / Never pain will heal / And it will always accompany our lives … “.
