Mishlav, Naif (Shafiq)

Ben Hippa and Shafik. Nayef was born on 6 January 1972 in the village of Abu Snan. He attended elementary school and high school in his village, completed twelve years of study and had a high school diploma. Naif joined the IDF in August 1990 and served as a combat soldier and intelligence officer in the Harb Battalion 299. He was discharged from the army in August 1993. On October 11, 1994, Na’if joined the police and served in the reconnaissance unit in the Jerusalem District. Advanced Sergeant Naif fell during his service on 10 July 2007. He was thirty-five when he fell. He was buried in the Abu Snan cemetery. Survived by a wife and child, parents, three brothers and two sisters.
