Mishani, Mordechai (Moti)


Mordechai (Moti), son of Dvora and Shlomo, was born on 27.2.1953 in Tel Aviv and studied at the Rokach elementary school in Yad Eliahu and at the ORT high school in Tel Aviv. Mordechai was a diligent student and from a young age excelled in his public activity. He was active in the “nest” of his youth movement, where he participated in the Gadna activities and organized summer camps, always taking on many roles in the school and always being the first to volunteer for action and action. Such as the sports signal and achievement certificates attesting to his achievements in various fields of athletics, especially running to different distances, high and long jumps, and iron balls, and his many activities in various fields. He studied at ORT school, Carpentry Class A. Mordechai was drafted into the IDF at the end of December 1971 and assigned to the Nahal Brigade. He successfully completed a course for general paramedics and was later sent to Kibbutz Grofit in the framework of his service and was well absorbed in the life of the kibbutz and the various works, and as in his civilian life, he also acquired many friends in the army and he built a cultural room in Grofit. On December 10, 1973, Mordechai fell in a car accident near Kibbutz Grofit and was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery, leaving behind his parents and two sisters. He was promoted to the rank of corporal.
