In Israel he studied at the Ein Karem Elementary School in Beit Shemesh. He was a thirsty student, interested in various fields and visited evening classes at his school. From his youth he was a sports fan and excelled in soccer and swimming. He was kind, kind, cheerful and friendly and always willing to help others. He was full of energy and activity, and the nightly “kumzitzim” he used to organize had a reputation among his friends. As a man he was conscientious, a loyal son and devoted to his parents, and from a young age he helped to support the family. To this end he worked in plantations and vineyards, and often in the evening. As an employee he was industrious and responsible, loved the fieldwork, and willingly did everything he had to do. Avraham was drafted into the IDF in mid-April 1972 and assigned to the Engineering Corps, where he completed a basic training course and was sent to a transport unit as a heavy truck driver, during which he served as a good soldier. During the braking battles against the Egyptians on the Sinai front, he traveled on heavily armed roads until on October 22, 1973, he was hit and killed while driving a truck full of ammunition to the front, He left behind his parents, brothers and sisters, and was promoted to the rank of corporal.
