Mirilashvili, Mirbi Hanania


Son of Esther and Michael. He was born on the 11th of Adar 5731 (11.3.1971) in Kolashi, Georgia. A year later, he immigrated to Israel with his family, who settled in Ashkelon. He attended the Or HaChaim religious elementary school. Merabi was a Simcha child, full of life, loved and accepted by everyone, who excelled in his good manners and thoughtful manner. After graduating from elementary school, he studied literature in Tel Aviv and worked as an employee in Savyon. He was conscripted into compulsory military service in the IDF in March 1989. He was appointed to serve in the General Staff, and served as a divisional bookkeeper in Gaza during his service to the rank of sergeant Hanania fell during his duty on 15 July 1991 and was laid to rest at Beit- The military cemetery in Ashkelon. He laid down parents and three sisters – Marina, Zia and Lili. The family commemorated him in a synagogue in Ashkelon. Articles about his fall appeared in the daily press
