Mintzer, Ezra

The only son of Bracha and Yosef, members of Kibbutz Merhavia, was born on 16.1.1930. During the difficult battles over Mishmar HaEmek, during a brief break between the battles, Ezra felt like milking the sheep locked in the barn. During the milking, on the 25th of Adar 2 5708 (April 5, 1948), he was hit by a bullet and died on the spot. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Merhavia.
