Son of Yonah and Avraham was born on the 24th of Adar 5623 (12.3.1923) in Jerusalem. He graduated from Tachkemoni School and excelled in his studies. David thought of continuing to study in high school, but after his father was murdered in the events of 1936-1939, David, at the age of 15, was forced to work to support the family. He worked as a clerk at the county police headquarters and learned in the evenings. Was an active member of Maccabi. His father’s murder instilled in him a strong desire for vengeance and for six years he worked in the Lehi underground organization and participated in many activities as one of the high commanders in Jerusalem. 1948).
