Minister, Ira


Son of Yishayahu and Yaffa. He was born on March 17, 1933 in Tel Aviv. The parents were members of Kfar Bilu, one of the founders and principal of the school in Rehovot, and after graduating from the 11th grade at Rehovot High School, he moved to the Teachers’ College in Givat HaShlosha and completed his studies there in 1951. He belonged to the ” Hanoar Haoved, “and some of his writings were published in the newspaper” Ma’aleh “, he served as a teacher in the Rehovot school where he studied as a child. (Such as “Massada”) before the War of Independence and was a member of the Gadna. Was drafted into the IDF in August 1952 and served there as a sergeant-sergeant in a battle near Beit-Guvrin on August 8, 1953, and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kfar Warburg. Part of his estate was issued by the school in Rehovot in Kislev 5714. In Adar 1958, Amihai published a book called “The Path of an Individual,” in which his letters, memoirs, and notes were added with the words of appreciation and memory.
