Milstein, Nissim (Niso)
Son of Rachel and Shimon, he was born on 12 October 1961. In his childhood, his family moved to Ramat Gan, where he studied at Matmid Elementary School, and after completing 8th grade, he moved to the IAF Technical School and completed his studies. In October 1979 he joined the IDF and served in the IAF. He passed a series of professional courses, including an aircraft maintenance course and interception aircraft equipment. In April 1980, he was promoted to the rank of corporal, and was promoted to the rank of sergeant in June 1980. On 12 Tamuz, July 19, 1982, when he was on vacation, he went to bathe at the sea on a volcanic beach and drowned. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Holon and left behind his parents and two sisters. From a letter to his family: “Nissim was an exemplary example of the squadron soldiers.”
