Son of Esther and Alexander was born on August 18, 1931 in the city of Kaposhvar, in southwestern Hungary, where he immigrated to Israel with his parents. Who completed five high school grades at the Ma’aleh school in Jerusalem, joined the training of Hanoar Haoved, which went to Lake Kinneret, and saw a great human and national purpose to work for. When he finished his training period, he came to visit Jerusalem in the last convoy that arrived in the city before Pesach 5708, and again the siege ring was tightened. When he was unable to return to his training comrades, he enlisted in one of the Palmach battalions and took part in activities in Ramat Rachel, Elias and Hadar, and sustained a minor wound near Latrun, but continued his service. To serve in this role in the line of fire, although the rest of his comrades have not yet been sent to battle because of insufficient training, and in his service as a departmental medic in the conquest of Tzuba and Deir Amar proved that he was worthy of the trust he had in his ability. The Miki operation, one of whose objectives was the conquest of the Latrun area, was the fourth attack on this area and the mission was hushed The “Harel” Brigade, the plan was to attack from the east, to capture the “range of cannons” and from there to advance and conquer the whole area.
