Michalovitch, Shay Shaul

Shay Shaul, the youngest son of Hannah and Abraham MIchalovitch, was born. On August 2, 2006, Shai’s unit was called up for reserve duty by order. For Shay, it was his first reserve service, and before he left, he did not forget to part with his grandmother. She was not at home and he called her, and when she asked him not to go, he replied, “If I do not go, what will happen to our country?” Staff Sergeant Shay fell in battle on the northern border on the 12th of Av 5766 (6.8.2006).
