After immigrating to Israel he studied Hebrew in the Ulpan and studied medicine at Hadassah Hospital, Mount Scopus, Jerusalem. He worked as a doctor at the Leumit Health Fund in Jerusalem. In the middle of March 1989 he was drafted into the IDF as part of an active reserve service and began basic training, and on 22.4.1989 Constant fell during his service and was brought to eternal rest in the Christian section of the Mount Zion cemetery, leaving a wife – Anna, daughter of Irena, son of Stefan and parents. Condolences to the family wrote to his commander: Constant late arrived at the unit to undergo basic training. Constant was a favorite of his comrades, and his commanders expected him to join the security forces and serve as another link in the military establishment. His wish to tie his fate with the people of Israel and educate his children in Israel should be praised. Despite our short acquaintance, we were impressed that Constance was a model husband and father. We will remember him as someone who fulfilled his duty with devotion and loyalty. “
