Meskin (Yaakobi), Geva

Geva, son of Nira and Natan Meskin, was born in 1981 in Kibbutz Nir David in the Beit She’an valley. Geva joined the IDF in November 1999 and completed his training in the Egoz reconnaissance unit, where he was chosen as an outstanding trainee and received a certificate of excellence. Towards the end of the training, during a parachuting course, on December 20, 2000, Geva fell in the line of duty in a road accident. Survived by his parents and three brothers. Geva was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Nir David.
