Meshulam, Moshe (Mosko)


Son of Regina and Joseph-Nissim was born on July 14, 1932, in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, and in 1944, when he was twelve years old, he was arrived in Israel with the passengers of the ship “Stephen Batori.” Moshe attended elementary school and at the age of 18 joined the Haganah. With the outbreak of the War of Independence he moved to active duty in the Jerusalem Brigade. Moshe was among the defenders of the radar regime when he was attacked by the Legion forces and fell in this battle on the 17th of Iyar 5708 (26.5.1948), even before the age of sixteen. On the 25th of Cheshvan 5710 (17.11.1949), he was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Har- Herzl in Jerusalem.
