Mendelowitz, Meir
Meir, Ben Sonia, and Solomon was born in Romania in 1951. Meir enlisted in the IDF in early August 1970 and was assigned to the Armored Corps, and after completing basic training he was trained in a tank training course and was trained to serve as a soldier in the tank. Since he was cheerful and naturally Simcha, he knew how to instill a good atmosphere among the people he met with, and during the most difficult training hours, he knew how to encourage and raise morale. During the battle his tank was hit, and he was killed. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by his parents and two brothers.
