On June 10, 1948, the Egyptians shelled the site and then attacked it with armored vehicles, causing enemy casualties, the collapse of positions, and damage to the weapons, And during the retreat in the open area, more fighters were injured, and on that day he was injured on Tuesday, 10 June 1948, and remained in the cold field B. He was considered missing, until after a year his grave was found at the site of the battle. On the 17th of Sivan 5709 (17.6.1949) he was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
