Menczer, Chaim


Son of David and Eidel. He was born in the city of Radvitz, Romania, in 1941, and was sent to a concentration camp in Transdnistria with his parents by 1948. After four years of suffering and starvation, 1945, he returned with his parents to his town, where he completed his studies in elementary school and continued to study for two years in high school, where he belonged to Hanoar Hazioni and later in Romania, But the British stopped the ship and was sent to Cyprus, where he sat until the liberation of the homeland, and when he arrived in Israel, he joined the Usha group, where he worked for two years, After his discharge he worked as a driver in his group. Modest and pleasant, he was diligent, diligent, a loyal and dedicated friend. In 1955 he was hired as a driver in the “Egged” cooperative and after a short time he was a member of the union. In this work he worked until the day he was called to serve the people. He fell in a battle in the Sinai system on the 27th of Mershvan 5711 (1/11/1956). He was buried in the Military Cemetery in Shallah, and on Thursday, March 10, 1957, he was transferred to the military cemetery in Haifa.
