Menashe, Gabriel
Ben Rachel and Solomon. He was born on 26 August 1962 in India, where he studied. He was an outstanding student and continued to study at the university. Menashe loved music very much, engaged in public volunteering, respected older people, listened to them, and helped them solve their problems. In 1982, at the age of twenty, he immigrated to Israel. He spent a short time at Kibbutz Revivim and studied in a Hebrew ulpan. During that year, his mother came to Israel and moved to Ashkelon with her. Before his enlistment he worked for a variety of jobs and at the Polgat plant. In February 1985, Gavriel was drafted into the IDF and was appointed as a truck driver in the IAF, and his commanders testified that he was a positive, quiet, and acceptable man on his friends. The military cemetery in Ramle, left behind by a mother, who was twenty-eight years old at the time of his death.
