Menachem, Menachem (“Menachemi”)


Son of Moshe and Shoshana. He was born in the month of Tevet 5703 (January 1943) in Aden, immigrated to Israel as a child and Menachem studied in elementary school and later in high school, devoted his family to his attention and especially to his sick mother. He was active in the Hapoel Hamizrachi movement and a member of Bnei Akiva, and he was a disciplined person and was loved by everyone who knew him, and in December 1962 he was drafted into the IDF and served in the Israel Air Force. Where he continued his studies at the IAF Technical School because he showed his love for technical work while still in high school. He served in the permanent army. On 1/7/1965 he fell in the line of duty (together with his friend-soldier, Mordechai Goldman) and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul on the seventh day of Hanukkah, Menachem to the synagogue in the vicinity of his mother’s home.
