Mena, Yosef (Yossi)

Yosef, son of Chaviva and Noam Mena, was born in 1961 in Kiryat Ata. He was drafted into the IDF in the middle of July 1980 and sent to the Northern Command and after a year went on toa combat unit in the 7th Brigade. He participated in the Peace to Galilee war, and was very dedicated to his role and to the soldiers. On 8 Tamuz, July 14, 1986, he died and was buried in the army cemetery in Haifa. He left behind his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
