Son of Shimon and Rachel. He was born in Tiberias on January 10, 1951. He was a regular member of the neighborhood youth club and participated in all of the class’s activities. He also devoted his time to reading and studying the library, and he loved life and society very much, trying not to be absent from the school’s social activities (trips, trips, parties and ceremonies.) After graduating from elementary school he went to the local high school. Here, for the first time, he found a company of students of his age who graduated from various schools He devoted much of his spare time to football, and not only as a spectator, but in practical activity and soon He took part in various competitions and was sometimes awarded certificates of honor, which he kept modestly in. It was important to him that he received the certificate, not the certificate itself. The local team, Hapoel Tiberias, had big hours and those were Yoav’s most Yaffa hours. Yoav respected his teachers and his teachers. He was kind-hearted, good-hearted, comfortable and loved by people. He could accept everything with a smile and love. When he completed his high school studies, he expected a day to wear the IDF uniform, but because of his fracture, he was forced to postpone the enlistment in a few months. In this corps he spent six months filled with satisfaction and pleasure from the ongoing activities and by virtue of his role. He died of an illness during his service and was put to eternal rest in the cemetery in his native Tiberias, and after his death he published a memorial booklet entitled “Yoav”.
