Melamed, Anat

Daughter of Yedidah and Gideon, was born on April 30, 1960, in Petach Tikva. Anat was recruited at the end of November 1978. Following her basic training, Anat continued her service at Kibbutz Gonen and the Gadi camp in the Valley of the Negev. On the 8th of Iyar 5740 (23.4.1980), a week before she was 20 years old, Anat fell during her service and was put to rest in the military cemetery in Petach Tikvah, leaving behind her parents and two brothers.
