Megali, Uri

Uri ben Yisroel and Emunah was born on the 5th of Tammuz, June 14, 1956, in Kfar Yehoshua. Uri worked in judo and earned the rank of ‘orange belt. Uri was drafted into the IDF in August 1974 and volunteered for the Navy, was sent to a tank crew and later transferred to the Maintenance Corps. On the 20th of Adar 2, March 22, 1976, Uri fell while performing his duties on Mount Hermon. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. Survived by his parents, five brothers and sisters. fulfilled his duty with responsibility and dedication.
