Maximov, Moshe

Son of Rahamim and Adina. He was born on the 25th of Shvat 1931 in Jerusalem. He attended elementary school and “yeshiva”. At the age of 16, he left the yeshiva and began working as a technician and in the evenings he attended a vocational school, where he belonged to the Haganah and at the age of 17 he already participated in several battles in Jerusalem and was wounded in the battle for Sheikh Jarrah. After his recovery, he moved to Tel Aviv and supported his parents’. He was 19 when he was drafted into the IDF. He participated in the battles in the Hula Valley, where he fell in battle in the village of Nokayev on April 20, 1951. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
