Matzlawi, Tzadik

Born on 17.5.1945 in Iraq, Tzadik, son of Fahima and Nahum, immigrated to Israel with his parents in 1951. He studied at Keshet Elementary School and at the “Kiryat Youth” vocational high school in Jerusalem. Tzadik was a quiet and diligent student, accepted by his teachers and friends and loved ones for his love of others and his willingness to always help with a smile of kindness on his face. He was loyal to his parents and devoted to his family. His parents were respected and respected and accepted their authority, but at the same time he often served as their advisor and friend. He treated his brothers and sisters with a paternal attitude and regarded them as the leader, who would serve as a support in times of trouble. His hopes were also pinned on him. He was humble, calm and quiet, of a comfortable nature, and always took upon himself the burden of the burden and the burden of work. According to his figure, he was tall, sturdy and handsome. Tzadik was drafted into the IDF at the end of July 1962 and was assigned to the infantry corps, and after completing basic training he was assigned to a training course for Kalapach activists and was sent to the Nahal Brigade in Kibbutz Lavi. He was assigned to the Jerusalem Brigade, where he fought in Jerusalem during the Six-Day War, and was awarded the “Six Day War.” He was a good and devoted soldier and his commander wrote about him: “He showed great devotion to his friends and excellent organizational ability. Was a favorite of his friends and commanders. “He was considered an excellent typist in the Jerusalem Post and was sent to a professional training course in Germany, where he fought with his unit in Sinai during the Yom Kippur War and took part in the bravery battles against the Egyptians. D. (20.12.1973) was killed and laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl and left behind his parents, brothers and sisters.
