Matry (Rizel), Yaakov (Yankele)

Son of Malka and Chaim, was born on July 10, 1928 in Safed to traditional parents who were born in Israel. His grandfather was one of the founders of Mahanayim in the Upper Galilee. In 1937, he moved to Haifa with his parents and continued his studies at Netzach Yisrael. Yaakov fell on October 17, 1948. He was buried in Dorot and on May 17, 1950 was transferred to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
