Masuri, Ronen
Son of Hanna and Ahikam, was born on the 27th of Adar 5765 (31.3.1965) in Hadera. Ronen studied in elementary schools in Hadera and completed his studies at a high school in Netanya. In his spare time and vacations, he used to help his family in the farm she owned. He liked to grow flowers, and to pick citrus fruit. Ronen was a hard worker and did every task without any calculations of selfishness. He respected and loved his parents, brothers and sisters. Before his enlistment in the IDF, Ronen learned to drive in a pre-military driving course, and Ronen was drafted into the IDF in mid-March 1984, and after basic training he was placed as a driver in one of the units. In addition to his work as a driver, Ronen was also assigned to guard positions. On the 17th of Sivan 5744 (17.6.1984), Ronen fell during his service and was put to rest in the military section of the old cemetery in Hadera. He left behind his parents, three brothers and two sisters. In his letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander said that Ronen was “a quiet soldier, disciplined, acceptable and loved by his friends.” He always volunteered to help and help. A Torah library in his name and in his memory was placed in the “Shalom Shabazi” synagogue in Hadera
