Mashiach, Solomon


Son of Yosef and Amalia. He was born on April 6, 1951. He studied at the Be’eri elementary school in Jaffa and at the Givat Shalom school in Tel Aviv, where he studied at the ORT vocational high school in Jaffa. To the IDF in November 1969 and was assigned to the Ordnance Corps. During his service, he acquired a mechanic-car profession and continued to serve in his profession in the permanent service he entered in November 1972. Shlomo served for a long time in Sinai and was transferred to the center of the country following his marriage to Dina in August 1974. On 15 July 1978 he fell during his service. Was sent to rest in the military cemetery in Holon, and left behind a wife and two children and parents in a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, his commander wrote: “The Armor of the Ordnance Corps invested all his energy and energy in maintaining our unit, Until he reached the climax of the summit to which he is able to reach his profession, in which he received praise and great appreciation for his skill He also acquired many friends who will not forget him … “His parents commemorated his name in the Rambam Synagogue in Kiryat Shalom.
