Mashiach, Rachamim


Son of Avraham and Victoria. He was born in Cairo, Egypt, on February 3, 1944, before immigrating to Israel in 1955. He studied at the Alliance School in Egypt, and then continued his elementary studies in Tirat Hacarmel until he graduated. At the Alliance school in Haifa in the 9th and 6th grades and in the 11th grade high school. Was a senior official at Shoham. He was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in February 1962, completed his regular service and then went on reserve duty from time to time, and during the Six-Day War he was on this service and on the fifth day of the battles, he fell on the 9th of June 1967 Which was held in Za’rora, in the Golan Heights, where he served as a tank gunner in his company. While trying to get out of the tank fell as a result of a direct hit. He left a wife and a child. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Afula and was later transferred to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Haifa.
