Who served as a sabotage sergeant in the Negev Brigade, fell on Operation “Yoav” on October 16, 1948, in an attempt to capture Iraq Al-Manshiyya, while he was engaged in breaking the minefield. On the 29th of Tishrei 5710 (29.9.1949) he was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
