Margalit, Ephraim-Zalman

Ephraim-Zalman, son of Mordechai-Shabtai and Liba Margalit, was born 1915, in Poland, where he studied in yeshiva. He immigrated to Israel in 1937. He belonged to the Haganah and was active in it. He was drafted into the IDF in May 1948 and took part in the War of Independence, during which he fell in the line of duty on 4 Adar (8.2.1954) and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Tiberias. He left a wife and two children.
