Marcus, Nathan
Son of Paul and Hannah. He was born on the 26th of Tishrei 5769 (26.9.1939) in the village of Nagerzet in the city of Slawi, Romania. He was four years old when he began studying and finished four elementary grades there. When he was eleven years old, he immigrated to Israel with his grandparents and continued his studies at the school in Ashkelon, where he was sent to Kibbutz Sha’ar Hagolan, where he also attended high school. He studied at the Technikon School; He completed his studies there successfully and received a matriculation certificate. Afterward, he served in the regular army, and even then he continued in a technical school until he completed his studies in a drawing. Everyone admired and admired him, both his commanders and his brother-in-law, his discretion and his power of judgment. On the 28th of Kislev, 5728 (28.11.1963), he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. He left a wife – Batsheva, her parents and brother Moshe (Riki).
