Marcus, David


Son of Fradel and Shmuel was born on October 15, 1930, in the city of Terminalia, Czechoslovakia. With the partition of Czechoslovakia by the Nazis, this area was transferred to Hungary, He was a member of a Zionist youth movement. In 1944, before the Holocaust hit her, the family managed to immigrate to Israel. David studied for two years in son of Shemen Youth Village and became a good farmer. Because he chose to live in a moshav – workers, he moved to Kfar Hogla and under his influence the entire family joined him – the father and the mother and his younger brother. They settled in the village and set up a farm. David enlisted in the IDF before he was 18 years old and joined the Alexandroni Brigade, and the Alexandroni forces attacked the Iraqi forces in Kafr Kakun in the Battle of Kakun, which killed David on the 29th of Iyar 5708 (7.6.1948). To rest in the cemetery in his village, Kfar Hogla.
