Marciano, Benjamin (Benny)
Binyamin (Benny), son of Zahara and Joseph, was born on August 18, 1951 in Fez, Morocco, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 1953. Benjamin was drafted into the IDF at the end of October 1969 and assigned to the paratroop brigade. After basic training, he took a parachuting course and a course for battalion ties. He spent some time in Nachal-Yam, and was the liaison of the outpost, and afterwards he took the path of the 35th in the framework of the Haskalah, where he was assigned to the Artillery Corps. He did not worry about his parents, made sure to write home regularly and never complained about his training, and did not say anything about his life in the army so as not to upset his parents.
