Manoah, Gershon

Was born on June 15, 1921, on the way the family immigrated to Israel from Syria, and when the family settled in Jerusalem, after he finished elementary school he went to work as an stonecutter and worked there. He served in the ranks of the Irgun and participated in the battles and in the defense of Jerusalem until he fell in battle at Deir Yassin on the 29th of Adar II 5708 (April 1948). He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Sanhedria in Jerusalem.
