Son of Yitzhak and Malka. He was born on August 10, 1953 in Tel Aviv. He did his elementary studies at the David Bloch Elementary School, where he made good progress in his studies without much effort, the sport attracted him from his youth, and a great soldier, especially in the basketball game, helped him with his high stature, And served as a “captain” in spite of his youth, and was part of a youth group that represented the city of Tel Aviv abroad, which extended his horizons and taught him to take the fate of his country and his private future more seriously. From childhood, Shmulik was a quiet, introverted person, with a sister who was older than him, and a second sister was born. He was a devoted son to his parents and involved in everything that was going on in the house, and he was able to provide wise advice on all the parents’ plans for work and the family budget. After two years of study, he decided to study at the Air Force Technical School in Haifa, where he graduated from the greenhouse at home. It was not easy, but Shmulik stuck to his decision and graduated with a high grade. His specialty was jet mechanics . Shmuel was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in April 1971 and assigned to the Air Force, where he was declared a good and disciplined soldier and fulfilled his duties to the satisfaction of his commanders. During his three years of service in the “duty,” Shmulik was promoted to the rank of corporal and sergeant, maintaining intercept and assault jets, and he began to work as a Skyhawk mechanic. (After his death, the daughter of Shimrit was added to the family), his devotion and concern for his wife and his son were above the norm, but he did not neglect his parents’ home, and there was not a day when he was not interested in their safety, And for this purpose he underwent a professional course. During an active reserve service, on the 22nd of Tishrei 5769 (October 22, 1978), Shmuel fell in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Holon. He was 25 years old when he fell. His family donated a Torah scroll in his memory and lamps for a synagogue. His two children donated a piano to the dance track at the Blich high school in Ramat Gan.
