Mammon, Moshe
Moshe, the son of Sophie and Yitzchak, was born on January 28, 1937, in Kiryat Haroshet. He was drafted into the IDF at the end of January 1955 and assigned to the Armored Corps. During the Six-Day War he participated as commander of the tank division in the battles of the conquest and conquest of the Kala’a-Zurah outposts, near the city of Kuneitra in the Golan Heights. When the Yom Kippur War broke out he joined the members of his reserve unit and took part in the battles in the Golan Heights. On October 7, 1973, during a battle against a Syrian force at the El-Al junction, his tank was hit and he was killed. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Netanya. He left behind a wife and two sons, a father and a brother.
