Maman, Eliyahu (“Eli”)


Son of Mordechai and Julie. Born in Casablanca, Morocco, on August 26, 1947, he immigrated to Israel with his family in 1949. He completed his studies at the Yavne Elementary School in Netanya, where he studied diamond cutting and worked in the profession He was a member of the “Hanoar Haoved” youth movement and was a member of the “Hanoar Haoved” youth movement and took part in boxing training at Hapoel, and during his free time he collected stamps, worked in sports, worked in copper and olive wood and went on trips. The Six-Day War broke out and Eliahu fell in battle in Bir Gafgafa, Sinai, on the first day of its battles, on the 26th of Iyar 5727 (5.6.1967). He was laid to rest in the emergency military cemetery in Bari and was later transferred to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Netanya. In the book “On Your Platforms Space” published by comrades in arms, his history was brought. A list published in a booklet issued by the Municipality of Netanya in memory of the sons who fell on their guard.
